UGG
In 1978, Brian Smith, an Australian surfer, having introduced a few pairs of sheepskin boots to the United States, began selling them in New York and California, launching the UGG footwear company. He attracted a clientele of Californian surfers and the entire Hollywood scene. The sheepskin used in UGG boots is double-sided: sheepskin on the outside and wool on the inside. Because the fur is breathable, it keeps feet cool in summer and warm in winter.
